Nothing like the summer sun shining down while you enjoy a lovely meal with wonderful friends! I love throwing white linens over a table and pulling out my crisp dinner wear for a fun afternoon dinning experience. Lunch and dinner parties don't have to be a long drawn out set up to be a great time.
I love to keep things simple and leaving the beauty of the night up to surroundings. A few ways to make this happen are by starting with a batched cocktail, ready to serve at the entrance of your event. From there, have one big table set for guests to roam around and take their seat. I always love to have food prepped in a family style setting, to pass around the table and enjoy. And lastly, have some kind of final sweet bite or cocktail to cap the night and give guests an idea of when to wrap things up.
When laying out the night in this way, I hope it feels a lot less stressful and something more you can enjoy! My goal with Lived X Leigh is always to make sure people can find the beauty in gathering, and sharing lovely moments with one another.
