My Love For Events

I've spoke before about my love for little gifts and making moments special. Some of my most fond memories come from filling a basket of makeup in the drug store as a surprise from my aunt. Or watching as she so carefully placed pieces of puff pastry straight from the oven onto stunning appetizer plates. Over the years I became the friend who always did the flowers for bridal showers and birthday parties. Always on the look out for a little prize that will bring a smile to my friends babies faces.

I loved everything about these little moments. The way the kitchen smelled of fresh breads, the way my heart radiated as I watch each blush and lipgloss be placed on the check out counter. Getting to see a balloon arch perched in the back of a photo for years to come. Memories to me have always been touched by a simple detail in time. The napkin in my lap, a glass used to toast. All these tiny pieces of evidence tie back to the people you share the hours with. And that, to me, has always been the driving factor to why I love the delicate dance of an event.

It's about curating a scene that allows the guests to think of nothing else but having a great time. And offering the host a chance to enjoy the moments they have designed for their loved ones. There is nothing I enjoy more than seeing someone flow through a party with ease. From entering to a grand floral installation, to snagging a simple glass of champagne. Seeing the convenience of eating from a grazing station, each piece of nosh thoughtfully chosen. To always having a place to stand, or sit, that brings security and ease.

Creating these moments for others is such a joy in my life. I am so grateful for each floral arrangment I have made, every sign that fits the theme to a T. It's an honor to take a step into the life of each and every client I work with, and one I place the utmost respect on. Event decor and design is my way of offering the world joyful moments that can be passed down for year to come.
